The game
That went too fast for Guingamp. OL continue to play well
and fast, as their magnificent performance faced to PSG. More lively in the
conquest of the ball, more precise technically and better organized
collectively, Lyon’s players suffocated Guingamp’s players incapable to hold
the ball and regularly beaten in the duels. Gones knew how to be realistic at
the key moments of the game, by opening the score (very early, at the 3rd
minute), by taking back the advantage shortly after the EAG equalization, then by
making the break ten minutes before the half time, and finally by putting
themself definitively under cover at the 60th minute of game. If
they sometimes fell in the ease, the men of Bruno Génésio have still returned a
very good copy to the Park OL.
The players

What would have been able to change everything
Anything, but OL will probably not complain about the
refereeing this time. There was Maxime Gonalons's fault in the recovery of the
ball on the action which ends in the first goal, and an offside was not
indicated by Maxwel Cornet on the third. Lyon’s players had some favourable
decisions. But even without that, they would certainly have won this match.
Their superiority on Guingamp’s players was clear.
Lyon becomes a competitor for Monaco, and we have to continue
in this way to finish on the second place.
What a game !
